Join me as we support positive, sustainable environmental change throughout Texas! #MyEarthMyTexas is a sustainability challenge that draws attention and funding to the awesome environmental nonprofits in our communities and involves others in their vital work.

My personal mission is to inspire and empower environmental stewardship through creativity, communication, and leadership, and I hope to continue this through taking this challenge!

Any donation, big or small, will go a long way to helping meet my goal for EarthShare Texas' #MyEarthMyTexas challenge. All donations are equally distributed impacting 30+ nonprofits simultaneously, but let me tell you about a few of my favorites --

One of those organizations is the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center - a place dear to my heart for inspiring the conservation of native plants. As the Multimedia Communications Specialist there, I am storytelling and engaging with online audiences through social media, video production and web design. It's an honor to help continue Mrs. Johnson's legacy for the beautification and conservation of Texas and beyond.

Another EarthShare Texas organization that I love is the San Marcos River Foundation. Their mission is preserving and protecting the natural beauty, flow, and purity of the San Marcos River. When I attended Texas State University, I was volunteering with many environmental groups and causes there in San Marcos, including water quality monitoring with the San Marcos River Rangers and the Texas Stream Team.

Thank you for helping me to raise awareness and financial support for these awesome organizations. Follow me on Instagram @LadyDyhanara for all of my April adventures - including writing for National Poetry Month and taking on the #MyEarthMyTexas challenge.

Best,
